Best Exhibition Stall Fabricators In Pakistan: How To Shortlist And Compare
There is no single best fabricator for every show. Here is how to shortlist three, compare them fairly and avoid the quotes that leave the expensive parts out.
By Expo Stalls Fabrication · Published 6 October 2026
There is no single "best" exhibition stall fabricator in Pakistan, because the right one depends on your booth size, show date, budget and how much of the job you want handled in one place. The most reliable way to find the best fit is to shortlist three fabricators, give them the same brief and score them on the same criteria. This guide gives you that scorecard. We are a fabricator ourselves, so we have written it as criteria to apply to anyone, including us, rather than a ranking.
Four Types Of Provider You Will Meet
Most quotes in Pakistan come from one of four kinds of business. They can all deliver a good stall, but the risks differ, so it helps to know which one you are talking to.
Fabricator With Its Own Workshop
- Builds the stall in a workshop it runs itself
- Controls the build schedule and quality checks directly
- Usually offers design, build and installation under one team
- Check: can you visit, and does it have photos of built work?
Design-Led Agency Or Broker
- Strong on concepts, renders and presentation
- Often passes the build to a third-party workshop
- You manage two parties if something goes wrong on site
- Check: who actually builds it, and where?
Event-Management Company
- Handles the stall as one part of a wider event package
- Convenient if you want one contact for the whole event
- Stall fabrication is typically subcontracted
- Check: is the stall quote itemised?
Shell-Scheme Contractor
- Supplies standard walls, fascia and basic lighting
- Fast and economical for small, simple booths
- Limited room for bespoke design
- Check: what branding and furniture are included?
An Eight-Point Scorecard
Score each fabricator from 1 to 5 on the points below, using the same booth specification in every quote. Give extra weight to the first three if your show date is tight or your stall is large.
- Workshop. Does the fabricator build in its own workshop, and will it let you visit by appointment?
- Verified work. Are there photographs of built stalls, ideally with before-and-after images, rather than renders only?
- Scope of the quote. Does it itemise design, materials, graphics, lighting, flooring, transport, installation and dismantling?
- Design process. How many layout and 3D revisions are included, and when does design sign-off happen?
- Timeline. Does the schedule allow for approvals, a workshop dry-build and the organiser's move-in window?
- On-site responsibility. Is the team that built the stall also the team that installs it and fixes problems during the show?
- Payment terms. Are milestones, variations and what counts as an extra clear before work starts?
- Company details. Is there a registered business, a physical address and a phone number that gets answered?
Totals matter less than red flags. A very low price with a vague scope, no workshop to visit and no clear installation responsibility is a warning even if it scores well elsewhere. Our full list of warning signs is in the guide on how to choose an exhibition stall fabricator.
How To Run The Shortlist
- Write one brief. Include booth size, open sides, hall, show dates, branding files, products to display and any storage or meeting space.
- Send it to three fabricators. More than three makes quotes hard to compare and wastes everyone's time.
- Ask each the same questions. Where is it built, who installs it, and what is excluded?
- Compare line by line. Two quotes for the same booth can differ a lot because they are not pricing the same materials or scope. Use the exhibition stall cost guide as a reference for typical starting prices by size.
- Visit or video-call the workshop. Seeing work in progress tells you more than a brochure.
Where Expo Stalls Fabrication Fits
We design, fabricate and install stalls with one team, from workshops located in the basements of our Karachi and Lahore offices, with an additional office in Islamabad. We have been building exhibition stands since 2012 and registered the business in 2017. Our exhibition stall fabrication page explains what is built in-house, and our portfolio and case studies show finished work. If you are comparing us with others, apply the same scorecard to us. Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find the best exhibition stall fabricator in Pakistan?
Shortlist three fabricators, send each the same written brief and score them on workshop, verified work, quote scope, timeline, installation responsibility and payment terms. Compare itemised quotes rather than totals.
Should I choose the cheapest fabricator?
Not automatically. A much lower quote often leaves out items such as lighting, transport, installation or dismantling. Check that every quote covers the same specification before comparing prices.
Is a fabricator with its own workshop always better?
Not always, but it usually gives you more control over schedule and quality checks, and one party to deal with if something changes on site. Ask to visit the workshop and see built work.
How many quotes should I get?
Three is usually enough. It gives you a fair comparison without turning the process into a project of its own.
Do you recommend yourselves as the best?
We are one option to evaluate, not a ranking. We suggest applying the same scorecard to us as to anyone else, and we welcome workshop visits by appointment.
Want To Put Us On Your Shortlist?
Send your booth size, show dates and hall, and we will quote against the same specification you give everyone else.
